Property Details

Nestling in the Yarty Valley in the beautiful Blackdown Hills, this attractive farm lodge with its own fitness room, offers rural tranquillity and local walks with plenty of wildlife and birds to spot.

Season and water levels permitting, there is fishing on the River Yarty, and sailing, golf, and riding are found locally.

Sidmouth, with its soaring cliffs and Regency architecture, Beer (a fishing village of smuggling notoriety) and Lyme Regis and The Cobb breakwater are nearby.

Shop 2 miles, pub serving food 1 mile.

The Lodge built in 1994 and recently decorated throughout is constructed on the site of an old hay barn with a slatted timber external finish.

The cosy accommodation on two floors consists of:

Ground Floor:

Living Room/Dining Room area with fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, CD/Tape/Radio Stereo.

Sitting Room with TV (Freeview); DVD; Video and Playstation.

Bathroom. Shower over bath.

First Floor:

Double Bedroom (Kingsize bed with drawers) and chest of drawers.

Twin room (3' twin beds with drawers), walk-in wardrobe\airing cupboard with hanging space.

Childrens' bedroom with two beds.

Attached to the Lodge is a Fitness Room with treadmill; multigym; rower; bicycle; cross trainer and weights. Also Bike are available.

Free wireless internet connection.

Our fields run beside the River Yarty.
